MEET YOUR AIRBNB HOSTS

We’re Lisa and Mark, and we’re Northern California natives. We’re obsessed with traveling. We’ve visited 36 states and 11 countries in Asia and Europe. We are enthusiastic about seeing all of the National Parks. We love hiking the redwoods and kayaking on the Russian River.

Using our own travel experiences, we tried to think of everything necessary for a comfortable visit at our Airbnb vacation rental in the Guerneville area.

WHY WE LOVE THE GUERNEVILLE AREA

Guerneville and the Russian River Valley region have provided so much enrichment to our family. We’ve discovered a welcoming community with plenty of activities, entertainment and diverse food choices. It’s allowed us to slow down, recenter and take a moment away from our long to-do lists during the weekends.

We enjoy sharing what we’ve found in our little hamlet with others, hoping you, too, can slow down and experience the beauty of this part of Sonoma County.

Reveling in the Nature of the Russian River Valley Region

After spending many weekends at a friend's cottage in Guerneville, we soon fell in love with western Sonoma County and discovered so much about the region and ourselves. With proximity to the ocean and the wine country, there was something new to experience each time we visited.  Sundays were always hard, as it was time to go home.

Back home,  I would look at real estate listings and dream. In 2019, we took a big step and purchased our home. We’ve never looked back.

Giving Back to the Community

Investing in the Guerneville area is important to us. We have contributed to several community improvement projects over the last five years, including:

  • Donated to the Rio Nido fund to restore and Light the Sign

  • Donated to the Rio Nido fund to rebuild the fountain

  • Replaced all of the broken benches around the basketball court, replaced the nets, and painted the basketball key

  • Built all new signage for Pee Wee Golf
